FOR the last 25 years Worksop Angling Supplies has supplied local anglers and a large customer base from the surrounding area.

These include Sheffield and Barnsley to the north and regular custom from Retford and the Newark district to the south.
From humble beginnings, as a bait shop the company has built up a solid reputation as Worksop’s premier angling centre.

Worksop Angling Supplies says it prides itself on a reputation for supplying fresh quality live baits, such as maggots, casters and worms.

They stock all the leading brands, Maver, Daiwa, Garbolino to name just a few.

“Our promise to the customer is if we haven’t got it in store we will get it for you at the right price,” said business owner, Greg Forrester.As you would expect from a quality store there are always some fantastic offers on poles, rods, seatboxes and other items.Everything is clearly priced, laid out with the customer in mind. And it is all coupled with friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff.

A familiar face on the team at Angling Supplies is current England international, Barnsley Blacks and three times junior world champion, Matt Godfrey.

Matt is on hand on Saturdays ready to offer help and advice to anglers of all ages, making the store well worth a visit.

Opening times are Monday to Saturday 6am to 5pm. Sundays and bank holidays 6am to 10am. All major credit cards accepted.
