Run by Garbolino Ossett star Andy Geldart, South Kirkby is packed to the rafters with tackle from all the leading manufacturers. Whether its Garbolino, Preston Innovations, Rive, Daiwa, Maver or any host of other smaller manufacturers, if you want it, the chances are Andy has got it or can get it.

As a stalwart of the Garbolino Ossett team, and a regular framer in festivals at White Acres, there are few more qualified than Andy to advise on all aspects of coarse fishing, and he gives this advice freely. Furthermore, his product knowledge is second to none, and he refuses to sell anybody anything he wouldn’t use himself.

South Kirby Angling Centre is located on the B6422, the main road through South Kirkby, which is easily accessible either from the A1 or by coming off the M1 at Barnsley and following the A628. There is ample parking at the front of the building, and the shop is also well served by buses from Barnsley and Doncaster,
