This Weir and the mill stretch below the weir are fishable on an Offord & Buckden season ticket.
A few Barbel have also been taken to double figures this year and also a 3.5lb Perch and many Chub
up to 5.5lb . Other noteable catches from our stretch of the river include Carp of 35.5lbs , 28lbs,
and several others around the 20lb mark . A mixture of Commons and Mirrors all in magnificent
condition and fighting fit , no ugly pot bellied Carp with pet names in our waters.
And all available for £15 a season from tackle shops in St Neots and Godmanchester.

Thanks for solving my mystery.I returned from Australia to the Ouse where I fished as a boy over 40 yrs ago,and expected it to be crowded(like the roads!)and was amazed to find it quiet.Caught a few perch, but I was more than happy, for some reason float fishing seems to have lost popularity.
The weirpool looks great,If I ever go back must try that.

                                 Kind regards Dan
