Talking barnsley

barnsley a spent force no way, they have a stronger second squad than most first teams, at the moment dorking are unstoppable but have they got the younger anglers coming though to carry on in number1 slot. besides barnsley lads like a laugh

Barnsley are a great team and have been at the top for years, it's good tgo hear that they have some youngsters in the team. Dorking have a good few youngsters that can also hold there own with most, looks like the future is rosy for those two, what about the rest of the big teams?

As the saying goes, teams and anglers are only as good as ther last result. Compared to the days of old, Barnsley have definitely dropped off a bit. Alain Urruty put a good article in angling star a couple of years ago when they lost to dorking in the semis, saying they have become complacement and need to pull there finger out.

This is not to say they haven't got some fantastic anglers, just too many individuals, and not a team spirit.

I think you are just anti Barnsley mate to be honest. there aren't many teams who can touch there record over the last couple of years.

Joff is right there not being allowed to join the Eastern DL for some reason. I believe they have asked to join for the last couple of years not sure why but I believe it was put to the team captains/reps for a vote and they voted against it, we had 19 teams last year and I think the general feeling is some other teams will not fish/drop out if Barnsley join.
