Open matches held at this new fishery every Thursday £10 all in . Draw at 9am fish 10am-4pm. At the moment its a fish a chuck on maggot from the ide,roach,rudd and tench, match won today with 32lb of small silvers, every one had 20lb plus. Carp only showing in the odd pegs at the moment. Its a stunning fishery on the road from Thorne to Stainforth just past Triangs fishery.

Think they have a sunday open as well Zebedee, and evening matches when the weather warms up, or pleasure fishing to suit. At the moment if you drop half a dozen balls of groundbait (silver fish based) in any peg full of casters and pinkies at 9-11m ish and loose feed red maggot over the top after every bite(1.5pts needed) you will empty it with silvers. Id favour the wider pegs from the island but they arrive in every peg either instantly or within 30mins. Enjoy

Starting Thursday 15th may there will be regular evening matches the draw will be 4.45 and the match will be 5.30 to 9pm. You will be able to draw up to 5.30pm if your running late and with the introduction of an extra 2000 carp 8oz to 1lb bites should be plentiful. That lying bloody Bolan hes been dissin me in the mail an all. He managed to pip me by a pound from an end peg whilst i was penned in on the opposite bank. Fair play he still had 53lb to my 52lb of all silvers. Back to squatboy. Evening matches now draw at 5.15pm fish 6pm to 9.15pm. You can catch 30lb of silvers in any peg either short or long, deck or shallow, maggot or caster over a few balls of groundbait is a banker at 9m depths vary from 3 to 8ft. In the evening you can catch on a top kit just flicking maggot regularly. Carp down edge or over to island late on. It is a fantastic puddle for bagging on silvers up to the pound.
