Isn't that campo a bit touchy?! The scores on the door read bolan 4 wins campo 3 wins in the evening series. Campo does have the best weight of the series with his bag of 64lb which included 20 odd pounds of carp but bolan has the best silver fish win with 53lb 5oz. Rumour has it campo has now cried off the venue after recent batterings but i can't confirm it!!!!!
Back to charity match in sept, if weather holds it should be a great match that could be won with either silvers or carp. There are fish on every peg and it seems to be very even although the newly named 'Campo's Bank' (pegs 6 to 12ish) is shallower and seems to have more carp. Personally I haven't been lucky enough to draw there yet so you'll have to verify this with the touchy one himself who has a season ticket on the best pegs.

All quiet on the campo front! Is he sulking?
To get to Pines come off M180 at Thorne junction, the one before M18 jct, and head twds Thorne. Turn left at little corner cafe before bridge over canal go past rugby club on right and go across railway line. Entrance to fishery is on left just before Motorway bridge. i don't think they have a website.

Bye eck bolans on one. hes even drafted me on to his local water ferry boat farm fisheries on the wednesday evening opens and guess what he draws next peg to me and on my first visit i win the match nuff said. Pines is the best silver fish venue ive ever fished and would seriously expect over 30lb of silvers out of every peg its that good it spoils you.

OR and dont ask him how he did at the teams of 3 at abbeydale i drew in the middle of the lake doubled the nearest mans weight in my section to win it. Bolan left in tatters with 3lb and carried my gear off the bank at least hes found his level. Wait 4 it.

Default pines charity match

hi guys. i am running the charity match on the pines in sept, and anyone who would like to fish will be more than welcome. its the first match i have ever run, but i have a good reason for doing it for the hospice, and they deserve all the support they can get. if you intend to fish please let me know so i have an idea of how many will be coming, but if you just want to turn up on the day that will be fine. i have 40 pegs booked, and they will be well spread over both lakes, if only 25-30 turn up then it will be on the main lake only. £10 from each entry will go straight to the charity plus my works will double the final amount. so spread the word guys and please support this great course. if you want any more info please get intouch . email gary.wilson83@hotmail.co.uk.
PEGS NOW £15

Damn! I'll be sunning myself on some hot n sunny beach that week. Still at least it will give that Campo lad a chance to win some coin.
