roped into a match at candy corner this sun dont know anything about the place any info would be welcome,methods,current form,bans etc.

ha ha... thats a good one the owner bans just about anything he wants.... my mates fished it a while ago and caught on meat and/or paste close in and pellet up in the water at 13 mtr. 13mtr is the max length anyway, got to use all his pellets feed and hook main thing to be aware of is keepnet weight on 5lb in each...................... i mean 50lb in each

like i said my mates fished it a while ago i fished it last year and was lumps 10-20lb mark although there are alot of silvers in which you souldnt ignore if the carp arnt playing.. id start of on 2 lines 1 at 4mtr with paste and pellet and 1 at 12 mtr with meat and pellet or just meat feed your way into it tho fire over top of 12mtr line with a catty (thats if he ant banned them aswell...lol) to see if they will come up in water. i say 12 mtr cos if they back off to 13 mtr you can follow them out abit if you started off at 13 thats the pole limit there. but keep dropping over the paste line to pick up whats there also the margins for the lumps if there, there. rig wise id go triplicate on every rig just incase you trash 1 or 2 line wise .14/.16 for deck or unless there big then .20 or heavier...... i used .18 last summer and got rigs trashed and lost hooks left right and centre...
