Hi Foxy
fished this venue about 4 weeks ago it is absolutley chocka with roach and good ones too but dont fish with maggott or caster or you'll get bitted out, i fished with 6mm luncheon meat on the drop in last 2 hrs and got 21 lb of them. there is also some big chub in and a lot of the matches are won with these with chop and caster but you need a lot of both ie 4 pints caster 2 kg worms. the first pegs you on both sides are usually the best as this is where the carp tend to hang out under the bridges and also across to the logs across to islands. ps i took five tins of meat. hope this helps but i reckon there's 50lb of roach in every peg

Start at 5/6 mt and feed at top top 3 wont take long for them to get confident on top 3 but when they get skittish move back out to 5/6 mt keep feeding both and alternate . if you decide to feed chop & caster you need to be out as far as you can for the chub hope this helps let me know how you went on. good luck

ps fish 2.6lb st thru on the lightest float you got you'll need it set to fish about 3' deep have a foot between float and pole so you can go deeper or shallower swing the rig round and splash it on the surface and to catch a few good ones that hang back swing it st in front of you
