Anybody heard anything else about how its fishing etc?.....We not hearing good things about it despite denials by the owner!
We got a match on folly next Saturday & it's not sounding promising!

Well we fished it & to be honest, most of us had a good day!
I had 39lb 12 0z & only won my section.
Just short of 60lbs won it & there were a couple of 40's and a few 30's.

There were a lot of lovely Ide caught with carp mixed in (I only had 3 carp 1 of a pound & 2 lumps rest were a mixture of Ide,orfe tench & bream....all caught in the margins in my case!

My advice is if you got a match booked there....go!...it's still very decent fishing!

never fished risby park but have heard some good things about the place, my local tackle shop fish matches there sometimes and say its full of carp and them big ide, me and my dad usually fish renny lake, the oaks, woodlands,or if fishing a river the swale at toppcliffe for the chub, ive been doing well at renny lake lately with some 100lb bags fishing braead on the top, great fishing, would be gratefull for any advice on risby park or the other venues ive mentioned for the next time i go,
