I hear on the grapevine that regular forum poster Adam Richards won the Maver Pairs final with 112 kilos! Well done mucker! It would be great to hear how you did it, and I hope I don't draw next to you on the Festival

Most of the 10 anglers on Arena had 70 - 95kg... 86kg was fifth on there... then there was adam with 112kg

Lee Thornton won the lake on the sunday with 133kg and Denty was second with 118kg so it was a good weekend for our lads

tom.... the lake was solid! lol.
we went on on saturday knowing it was going to be good but didnt expet it to be so good. for half the match me and lee thorton next to me fished shallow and never really caught. after 2 hours with about 50 lb in his he went down the side and started bagging, i went down half an hour later wih 60-70 lb in my net and caught one every sinlge chuck for the rest of the match, everything raning from 1 lb to 15 lb but averaging 2-3lb. i ve never seen anything like it, at one stage i had them crawling up the bank. i weighed in 112 kilo and lee weighed in 90 but we both were sure we d have alot more if we could have another go. lee drew it again the next day and bagged up all match fishing a top kit and feeding 10 pints of casters! lol

6 inch deep in 12 inches of water and every one was just on! haha if only it was always like that!
