always loads of fish to be had on alders. Its been a bit peggy for the carp but they've spread out now.

I used to love fishing maggot shallow for the ide but now the little roach drive you insane even though theres ide swirling everywhere the roach dont half slow you down!

Tell me about it m8!...had a disaster on Saturday! no carp & aside from a couple of reasonable Ide I had about 5 pounds of micro roach!

Fished crap...venue fished crap, was so disappointed I didn't hang about after the match....I think only about 20 lbs won! (small carp & Ide on floating pole)
Shocking!
I was on peg 14...16 metres wasn't enough & I don't do floating pole out of choice!...fed plenty of maggots at about 12/13 but the Ide didn't seem to be there & I got nothing down the side!
Only real excitement I got was a bloody Chaffinch trying to take my hookbait in the air a few times!
I fished the same shallow method for the Ide on Poplars before & emptied it, so what went wrong?....do you think the rain has buggered it up?

I went to moorfield farm. Uusually it boils with ide for maggot. they really didnt want to know at all on saturday, cold and miserable. I caught more on the bottom in 6ft of water than shallow.
I drew 13 the other week its 19.5m wide, 14 is about 18.5

thats fishing!

Yeah m8! I been fishing long enough to take the lows but I really expected to sort those Ide out on Saturday!

Got a match on Kevin's at Langwith on Saturday so will try to put things right there!....Good news there is that floating pole isn't allowed!
Not fished Kevin's but I'm thinking a pellet method for there...seems to work on the other lakes I have fished at the complex.
