That would make sense wouldn't it as then you are more likely to hook fish on the inside of the mouth as they will suck it in. I wonder if this would lead to anincreased amount of hook pulls though, with the amount of hook achieving penetration being greatly decreased?

With you saying that the carp wouldn't have pellet but would have corn, I wonder if hair rigged corn would have worked better, i know they use to use this a lot at Hayfield.
