I honestly believe we all get the same number of good pegs as bad pegs over a very long time period of time. The better anglers tend to make less mistakes on the better pegs and so it seems that they draw better pegs than others. In truth, the better anglers dont make as many mistakes as other anglers and often catch a good weight from average draws although a little less than the potential of the best pegs. These top anglers then also need help from the not such good anglers to win by the not so good anglers messing up there good draws. Its amazing how often this happens! The strange thing with me is that i like to draw the last peg in the draw bag. This means that i have no choice about where i fish. I let the other anglers who draw before me dictate where i am drawn in the match. Its amazing how often a good peg is not drawn if there is one or two extra pegs put in the draw bag. One thing i hate is when there is more than one peg left in the draw bag. I always struggle to draw the better peg in this situation. It very strange to me how this happens all the time. I cannot complain as i get more than my fair share of good draws or it seems that way. However, i see a many venues as having more good pegs than many anglers believe are available on many venues.
