try to get a good peg near a lot of reeds drog your float as close as you can to the reads then every couple of minutes chuck pellets were your float is and then put a bigger pellet on your hook

what do you catch all of you carp on and which lake , i fish woodlands ever week but 6lb common carp being the biggest and i would like to catch more and bigger sizes thankss jamie

sadly havnt fished woodlands for a few years due to health problems.but the last time i fished it it was the best day of my fishing life.had over 130lb of fish cant complain for the price either.best fisherie fished for a long time.

Ive been fishing catterick for the last 8 weeks on sundays had some nice carp up to 12lbs and im not the best angler in the world also had nice tench skimmers and perch . Its £7 a day for 2rods but theres 5 lakes to choose from good look if you go bye.

just come back from woodlands after a great day fishing, with my son fished the 1st lake on the road in and had plenty fish, as a novice i also watched as the more seasoned anglers landed some big carp 11lb plus some of them. i will certainly be back but need to practice a bit to get on these big carp . great venue and only 1hr drive from our home in durham
