Gunnabarn is the most exclusive Carp fishery in cornwall. The site is located in secluded private woodland (covering a 7 acre area) right in the middle of cornwall.
The Carp Lake (specimen lake) is approx 3 acres in size and is stocked with around eighty double figure carp, half of which are above 20lb. The majority of the fish in this lake are the fast growing simmo strain and it is only a matter of time before the first 30 pounder emerges. This lake can only be fished via yearly membership and promises a tranquil and relaxing fishing enviroment.
The Gunnabarn Match Lake is not only a match lake but is also ideal for the pleasure angler. There are sixteen standings and four further pegs on this lake, which is highly stocked with over three thousand carp as well as silver fish, Tench and some large Perch (which are rare in cornwall). The full lake can be booked for club matches and breakfasts can also be provided. Open matches are held most sundays.
NOTE: Members privacy is very important and so there is no access to the fishery unless by prior arrangement.
