Nine Oaks has six lakes, three are trout lakes (Derwen, Weir and Pallen), two are coarse lakes (House lake and Main) and there is also a small novice pool.

House coarse lake (approx 1/2 an acre) holds Carp to 18lb, Roach, Tench and Bream. it has lilies as a feature and is also suitable for the disabled to fish.

Main lake is the larger of the two coarse lakes (1 1/4 acres) and is also suitable for the disabled to fish. this lake holds Carp to mid 20s, Tench, Golden Tench, Roach, Bream, Cat fish and Eels.

The three trout lakes are kept well stocked with blue trout and rainbow trout and Derwen has tiger trout as well. All three are fly only lakes with catch and release or catch and take both available.

The novice pool is an easy to fish water which is ideal for youngsters to learn and practice on and holds fish mostly up to 3lb and has no double figures to worry about.

There is an onsite tackle shop with a large range of baits, tackle and equipment.

Coarse and trout tuition can be arranged for both the novice or the more experienced angler.

Night fishing is allowed on the coarse lakes with prior arrangement at a cost of £18.00 per person (there has to be at least 2 people).
