Around the first weekend in November a strange phenomenon happens in the Duchy, local match anglers that have seemingly hibernated
Spro Landing Net
Spro Landing NetI have recently started using this new float pan net from SPRO and I have to say my initial impressions are that it is very good. The net has two pieces of compressed rubber foam on the spreader bars and this stops the net from sinking in the water. It is an idea that I have seen in use on specimen angler’s nets, whilst the rubber does not stop the net from fully sinking, it does stop it from sinking fast meaning if you have to let go of the net handle briefly it doesn’t sink out of sight!
The holes in the side netting are large which allows water to pass through with ease making ‘the scoop’ very quick and easy. The base of the net has much smaller holes which stop hair rigged pellets passing through them and snapping the hair.
The net really compliments the extensive range of SPRO nets.
